Industries in the synthetic packaging sector, working with polypropylene (polymer-plastic), invest in injection or blow-moulding units, equipped with in-mould-label-placing robot systems, which place the final label of similar material in the mould cavity, just before the injection process.

Electrostatic charging electrodes charge the label while it is being transferred to the moulding unit, so that when the label is placed on the tool and released by the label transportation core, it will wrap itself onto the tool.

The polypropylene label fuses with the created package, while injecting in a temperature of over 200°C. The final container, or lid, has no need of other printing or labeling applications.
